"I don’t believe in just selling rates and fees", he says, adding "I’m a loan financial planner – not a loan officer, not a salesman"

He says, simply, "I look to make each new client a lifetime client. If I can improve a borrower’s position, I’m happy to do so. But I’ll also be honest if I can’t help your situation. And I won’t do a loan just to make a commission.

Tina Barenbrugge

Scott Seggerman

Scott Seggerman has 18 years in the mortgage industry, ranging from his current practice of arranging residential and commercial mortgages and construction loans (since 1996), to Wholesale Mortgage Banking (1993 to 1996), and various levels of Underwriting and Analysis for Wall Street Investment Banks during the U.S. Resolution Trust Corporation’s management of the Saving and Loan Crisis (1990 through 1993).  He has a B.A. degree in Finance from the University of Illinois (1984) and has held SEC and NASD Securities Licenses (1986 through 2002).  He is married with a daughter and a son.

This broad background has taught him that each borrower’s situation is unique and detailed; some are “perfect fits”, and others are more complicated and requiring of creativity and alternate ways of accomplishing the borrower’s goals.  Because of this, he communicates at length with borrowers about the financial aspects of their current and developing lives, and they leave with the knowledge that all options were presented, discussed, and compared, and the best choice eventually made.  This leads to a deep understanding and loyalty with his clients, and one which develops referrals, return customers, and on-going contact in most cases.

His outlook is “that my next opportunity to serve a client is completely dependent upon how well I performed for the last one”, and as a result, each of his hundreds of clients can be considered for a personal testimony about their experience with him.

Mark Maeder

As a Senior Loan Officer with Rancho Financial, Mark Maeder brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his clients.  During Mark’s tenure with Morfacts Mortgage Center (1993-2007), he developed a specialty in residential and commercial financing transactions with an emphasis on personal service, attention to detail, and most of all, customer satisfaction.

His primary goal is to match his borrower’s needs with the best-fit lending solution.  With a strong background in both business and finance, as well as multi-tenant rental property management, Mark is positioned to provide his clients with unique insights based on their financial situation.

A Southern California native, Mark graduated with a BBA in Business and a MBA in Finance from the University of San Diego. Prior to beginning his career in lending, Mark worked in the procurement and contracts fields with General Dynamics Convair Division, TRW (now Northrop Grumman Corp.) and Hamilton Sundstrand Corp.  With twelve years of military procurement negotiations and contracts under his belt, Mark was a natural for identifying the fine print of the right loan products to meet his borrowers’ personal and financial goals.
